Fisher describes the High Altitude Observatory's expedition to General Santos City on Mindanao, the Philippines to record a solar eclipse in March 1988. He explains the process of setting up the instrumentation, the results of the team's observations, and elaborates on the hospitality extended to the team despite the political instability of Mindanao. the talk included slides and a video tape of the eclipse.
